Privacy Policy

MegaGen Idle ("the game") is made by Jonathan Oshri Davis, an independent developer publishing as MiracleBadger ("we"). This policy covers the website megagenidle.com and the game on the web, Steam, Google Play and the App Store.
What we collect
- Game saves are stored on your device. On Steam, Steam Cloud copies your save to Valve's servers. We do not receive your save.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play and the App Store. Our purchase service, RevenueCat, receives your purchase history and a random app user ID to confirm what you own. We never see your payment details. On Steam, Valve handles purchases and achievements under its own privacy policy.
- Website statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Support email: if you write to support@megagenidle.com, we keep your email address and message to answer you.
- Optional notifications on mobile are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server.
- Accounts and cloud saves (optional): if you create an account, Supabase, our database provider, stores your email address (to sign in and reset your password), the username you choose, your cloud saves (game progress only) and when they were made. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes; we never see them.
We do not show ads, use advertising IDs, track you across apps or websites, or sell data.
Why we use it
To run the game, confirm and restore purchases, answer support requests, and count website visits.
Who receives it
Only the service providers named above (Valve, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, Cloudflare), each for the purpose listed, or an authority when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Saves stay on your device until you delete them (Settings > Reset game, or uninstall). Purchase records are kept as long as needed for your purchases and the law. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Settings, then Account and cloud saves, and choose "Delete my account". Your login, username and every cloud save are deleted right away. The game saved on your device stays until you reset it in Settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU GDPR), you may ask to see, correct or delete your data, and complain to your data protection authority. Email us; we answer within 30 days.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We will post changes on this page with a new date.
